Horse gram idli is something which is very healthy no rice, dhal rice. This doesn't require any fermentation too. Horse gram is high in fiber and it is also considered as good ingredients in weight management.

Ingredients
1cuphorse gram
salt to taste
Instructions
Wash and soak horsegram overnight at least 7-8 hrs
Grind it with salt. Batter would be thick
Heat idli pan and oil the plate. Pour the batter (batter would be thick)
Cook for 10 mins or till inserted stick comes out clean
once done remove it from plate. Enjoy with favourite chutney

You can add Rice and dhal to make the idli (refer to intro section for recipe)
Idli cooker gives good result
Make sure you grind the batter thick and fluffy
Level it with wet spoon to get smooth looking idli
