Tandoori Baby Corn

Tandoori baby corn - Have you tried this before?  if not it is must try recipe. Recently Tandoori flavored dishes become our family favorite. There are few recipes in my to do list. I love the fact this recipe is not deep fried. My 2nd son who is not big fan of corn likes this recipe

Ingredients

For Marination

  • 1/2 cup hung curd or greek yogurt
  • 2 tbsp Besan flour
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Red chili powder
  • 1 tsp Cumin powder
  • 1 tsp Garam masala
  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • salt to taste

For Tandoori baby corn

  • 200 g baby corn
  • oil for shallow frying

Instructions

  • Cut baby corn into 2 pieces as you see in the pic. Heat water with salt & cook baby corn. Drain it. Keep it aside
  • In a bowl take all the ingredients under marination and mix well add water if needed
  • Add cooked baby corn and mix well. Let it sit for 30 mins
  • In a grill pan add oil for shallow frying.  arrange marinated baby corn and let it cook till all sides are browned. Cook in low flame
  • At last add remaining marination paste and fried baby corn and mix well
