Milk Powder Burfi

Milk Burfi is done with 6 ingredients and can be prepared within 20 mins. Perfect for quick sweet fix for sweet cravings

Ingredients

  • 2.5 cups Milk powder Full fat
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup ghee
  • 1/4 tsp cardamom powder optional
  • 1 cup milk full fat
  • 2-3 tablespoon almonds thinly sliced

Instructions

  • Line and grease a vessel. Keep it aside.
  • In a bowl take all the ingredients except almonds and Ghee. mix well using whisk till everything combined without any lump
  • Heat pan and pour the milk mixture. Add ghee. Continue to cook in low flame until mixture thicken. Mixture will hold shape and start leaving sides. This might take about 10-12 mins
  • At this point transfer to greased pan/ plate. Level it with greased bottom or laddle. Add sliced almonds and press it gently
  • Let it cool down for 1.5 - 2 hrs and cut into desired shape
  • Enjoy
