Soya Chaap Tikka

Soya Chaap is totally new to me. I was looking for high protein options for vegetarians / vegans. I normally do Tofu / Tempeh but my friend mentioned about Soya Chaap I have decided to check out. If you are in for spicy starter than try this Soya Chaap

Ingredients

  • 200 g Soya Chaap (remove the stick and dice into ½ inch round piece) 
  • 2 tbsp Besan flour
  • 2 tbsp Rice flour
  • 3 tbsp Curd / yogurt
  • 1 tsp Red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1.2 tsp Garam masala
  • 1 tbsp Coriander powder
  • 2 tsp Ginger garlic paste
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for shallow fry 

Instructions

  • In a broad vessel take chopped soya Chaap. Add Besan flour, Rice flour, Curd, Ginger garlic paste, Garam masala, Coriander powder, Turmeric, Chili powder and salt 
  • Mix well. Leave it aside for 30-60 mins 
  • Heat oil for shallow fry. Arrange the Soya Chaap pieces in single layer. Fry till all sides are browned 
  • Once done remove it. Serve it
