Sticky Mango Rice
Mango, rice and coconut milk combined to in this tasty thai dessert

- 1/2 cup Sticky rice
- 2 tbsp Sugar / Gula Melaka
- 1 Pandan leaves
- 1 cup coconut milk
- 2 tbsp Moong dal
- 1 mango (big size) peeled and diced
- Salt to taste
Dry roast Moong dal till slight brown in color
wash rice 4-5 times. Soak for 4-6 hrs. Drain the water. Arrange it in a steamer, heat water to steam
Steam the rice for 20-30 mins with pandan leaves till the rice is translucent. Remove pandan leaves
In a separate pan take coconut milk, Gula Melaka heat till it starts to boil switch it off.
Reserve 1/4 cup coconut milk Mix in coconut milk to cooked rice little by little till you got porridge consistency.
Once it cools down to serve it with cut mango, Roasted moong dal, and coconut milk
