Mullu Murukku

My Son was asking for snack for quite sometime.. They need something crunchy with rice (even with many vegetables). Last year with few visitors and our few visit to India we have been getting snacks from my mum and was there at home continuously so I have decided to give it a break. It has been 7 weeks in a row without snacks.. I decide to reward them. So today I did murukku. I always have murukku mavvu in the fridge. So it si easy to do.

Ingredients
Murukku Mavvu – 6 Cups
Red chilli Powder – 1 teaspoon
Salt – per taste
Seasme seeds – 3 teaspoon
Butter – 3 tablespoon
Method:


Mix all the ingredients in a large bowl except salt

Add salt to lukewarm water and mix it to dry ingredients and make into a soft pliable dough.

Take a handful of dough and place this in a murukku presser. 

Use this aachu  for mullu murukku.Or you can use the 3 stars one also. 

Heat the oil till it becomes hot.

Make a round shape in a laddle /tissu paper and just transfer it to the oil. When the sound stop or fully cooked you can lift out the murukku

Repeat this process for the remaining dough. 

Store them in a airtight container and Enjoy
