Vegetable Wrap – 1

It’s Weekend and it’s non bread day :-). I normally do wrap or waffle on Sunday. If I do wrap most of the time it is with broccoli and  cheese. Today I wanted to try out vegetable wrap. When I first said my son first reaction is why do you want keep trying new stuff. In the end everything went well .. He loved it. He asked me to do this again 🙂


Ingredients
Finely chopped mixed vegetable – 2 Cup (I have used Carrot, Beans, Cauliflower, Potato)

Pav Baji Masala/Subji Masala/Sambar powder – 2 teaspoon (I have used Pav Baji Masala)
Red Chilli powder – 1/4 Teaspoon (per taste)
Turmeric powder – 1/4 Teaspoon
Salt per taste
Wrap – 8
Cream Cheese – 1 teaspoon per wrap (I have used Philadelphia 80% fat free)
Tomato Sauce – 1 and 1/2 teaspoon (I have used garden pasta sauce) per wrap
Salt as required



Method:


Pressure cook mixed vegetables with salt with little water (will not strain the water)
When it is cooled off mash the vegetables
Heat the non stick kada and add mashed vegetables
Add Turmeric powder, Chilli powder and masala (Pav Baji Powder)
Mix it well and let it cool till all the masala powder raw smell goes off

Heat flat tawa and reduce the flame to very low. When rawa is hot put Wrap. Heat it for 10 sec
Turn to other side of wrap heat another 5 sec
Apply a teaspoon of Cream cheese and spread well

Apply 1 1/2 teaspoon of Tomato Sauce and spread well
Add a tablespoon of vegetable spread in the center

Fold the wrap and serve
