Shai Paneer

Paneer! my kids will eat in any form (even as raw cube :-)) Recently I have started eating paneer …Most of the paneer recipes are very easy to do. This is one of very easy recipe for even very lazy days.. If you have paneer in the fridge go ahead and try this.. I have used this for Chapathi but my helper told me it goes very well with rice also



Ingredients:
Paneer – 1 1/2 cup ( I have used store brought Paneer)
Onion – 2 finely chopped
Garlic – 8 finely chopped
Green chillies – 2 (to your spice level)
Ginger – 1/2 Inch
Red Chilli Powder – 1/2 teaspoon
Dhania (Coriander seeds) powder – 1 teaspoon
Jeera (Cumin seeds) powder – 1 /2 teaspoon
Tomatoes – 3  cup Finely chopped
Dry fruits and nuts – 1 tablespoon (Optional)

Method:
Heat the oil in the kada add garlic

When it is brown add Onion and fry till translucent

Add masala powder and mix well and fry for 3 mins



Add diced tomatoes. Cook till Tomato become mushy. If needed add bit of water

Crumble paneer with hand and keep it ready

Add this to the gravy and mix it well. Cook for 5 more mins or till the gravy is reaching preferred consistency
