Black Bean Sundal – How to make Sundal with black bean? – navarathri recipes
























Sundal! easy way to include protein as part of a meal and very easy to get the kids to eat. (I know what u say, kids eat without fuss!!! What I meant getting them to eat this kind of food should be easier than getting them to eat meals). It also fits any meal Breakfast, lunch, dinner, or snack. It is perfect for urgent cooking (if you remember to soak the previous night)




Ingredients:

Black Beans – 1 Cup
Coconut – 1/4 cup
Green Chillies – 3
Cumin seeds – 3 teaspoon
Curry leaves – 10
Coriander Leaves (finely chopped) – 2 tablespoon
Mustard Seeds – 1/4 teaspoon
Asafoetida a pinch
Oil – 2 teaspoon

Method:
Wash and Soak Back Bean overnight. Drain the water and pressure cook it with salt till 4 whistles. Drain the water and keep it aside

Grind Coconut and Green chilies

Heat Kada and add Oil. when hot add mustard seeds and cumin seeds. When it started to crackle add curry leaves and fry for 10 sec. Add Asafoetida and cooked bean and mix well.
Add the ground paste and mix well.

Add Coriander leaves and serve hot
