Ingredients:
Poha(thick) – 1 cup (I have used brown)
Onion – 1 big
Tomato – 2 (Finely Chopped)
Green chillies – 3 (slit into 2)
Frozen peas – 1/4 Cups
Ginger – 1 teaspoon
Garlic – 5 pods
Turmeric powder – 1/4 teaspoon
Coriander Leaves- 1 tablespoon finely chopped
Gram Masala powder – 1/2 teaspoon
Salt to taste
Oil 2-3 teaspoon
Mustard seeds – 1/4 tsp
Cumin seeds – 2 teaspoon
Bengal Gram Dhal (chana Dal) – 2 teaspoon
Urad Dhal – 1 teaspoon
Curry Leaves – 15
Method
- Wash and soak the poha for 2 minutes and drain the poha n keep aside.
- Heat oil in pan,add the tempering ingredients and allow to splutter and fry the Bengal Gram and urad to golden brown.
- Then add the curry leaves,ginger,garlic,green chillies and saute for few seconds and add onions and saute till onion are soft.
- After that add chopped tomatoes and fry till tomato turns tender and mushy
- Add Gram Masala Powder and turmeric powder and fry for 2-3 mins
- Add cooked Peas
- Now add the drained poha ,enough salt and mix well and fry for a minute.
- Lastly add some chopped coriander leaves and turn off the stove.
- Serve Hot

Very simple and comforting recipes and love to try this combination..
I always keep thinkin of making poha but always put it off for another day as I have no clue what it tastes like. And then I see wonderful recipes like yours and am tempted again 🙂 Looks delicious!
