Wheat rawa is something which is easy to make it.. it seldom goes wrong. It is more healthy and easy option for my lunch box. There is different way to make it this but one is far more easy way to it. Even kids like it.
Ingredients
Wheat Rawa – 1 cup
Onion – 1
Red Chillies – 2
Bengal gram dhal – 1 teaspoon
Urad dhal – 1 teaspoonCurry leaves – few
Oil – 2 teaspoons
Mustard – ½ teaspoon
Salt – ½ teaspoon or as per taste
Idli Podi – 2 tablespoon
Method
In the same kadai, put the oil and when it is hot, add the mustard. When it splutter, add the dhals, red chillies broken into bits, fry till the dhal turns brown.
Add chopped onion and curry leaves.
Fry till onions are transparent.
Add 2 1/2 cups of water along with salt. Bring to boil. When it starts boiling, add the rawa and stir well.
Close with lid and cook on low flame till 1/2 cooked
Add Idli Podi and mix it well
Cook till all the water is absorbed and the rawa is cooked well.
