Ingredients:
Urad Dhal – 100 Gram
Bengal Gram Dhal – 100 Gram
Raw Peanut – 50 Gram
Grated Raw Papaya – 3 Cups
Onion (big) – 1
Ginger – 1 inch
Cumin Seeds – 2 tablespoon
Red Chillies – 3
Asafoetida – 1/2 teaspoon
Curry leaves – 1 string
Chopped coriander leaves – 2 tablespoons
Oil – for deep frying
Salt to taste
Method:
Soak Red Chillies, Urad Dhal, Bengal Gram Dhal and Raw Peanut for an hour
Cut Onion finely
Chop Ginger
Put soaked dhals in mixie and grind coarsely it together with Ginger and Chillies (I have added Onion also because my 1st son don’t like onion pieces)
Add grated Papaya, Salt, Cumin Seeds, Onion (if u are adding as pieces), asafoetida, Chopped Coriander and curry leaves
Mix it well
Heat the oil in Kada
Take a clean plastic sheet or banana leaf . Take lemon size balls and flatten slightly. Deep fry in oil till it is golden brown
