Besan Kheer recipe – Besan Payasam recipe – Besan Milk recipe – How to make simple kheer recipe – Pooja recipes – Winter recipes

Kheer is one of the simpler yet tastier dish with less ingredients. It can be part of your feast or dish to satisfy your instant craving for sweets. Sometime I just have it for my breakfast. You can reduce your sugar or natural sweetener or use traditional sweetener like jaggery to make it guilt free. Yes you can use low fat milk or coconut milk. Coming to today’s post this is new dish for me. I had tried this for first time & I loved it. I have tried with both coconut and normal milk I preferred with normal milk. So this recipe is with normal milk
Ingredients:



Besan flour – 2 tablespoon
Water – 1 cup
Sugar – 1/4 cup
Milk – 2 cups
Ghee – 3 tablespoon
Cashewnuts – 10 (broken into 1/2)
Raisins – 1/2 teaspoon
Cardamom – 1/4 teaspoon



Method:


Heat ghee add cashews and fry till slight brown add raisins and fry till brown. Take it out and keep it aside

In same ghee add besan flour and fry till nice nutty aroma released 

Add water and mix well. Continue to cook in medium flame

Add milk and let it cook for another 5 mins at low flame. Add sugar and continue to cook for another 5 mins or till desired consistency reached

Add Cardamom and fried nuts. Switch it off. 

Serve hot or cold
