When I was in India this time I had noticed there were a no of shops which serve karuppatti coffee. I love karupatti flavour. So wanted to make it at home. First time it was flop as I mixed in hot milk with karuppati so it curdled. So when you mix in karupatti milk has to be luke warm. Using full fat or high calcium milk would be good. Since you will mix in coffee with karupatti water with warm milk don’t use slim milk. If you are looking for ways to incorporate karuppatti then this would be a good recipe to do so
Ingredients
Milk – 1 cup
Water – 2 cup
Karuppatti – 1.5 tablespoon to 2 tablespoon
Coffee powder – 1 teaspoon
Method:
Boil milk. Filter it. Let it cool down to warm milk
Boil water with Coffee powder and karupatti
Slowly mix in warm milk (make sure it is warm otherwise it might curdle)
Pour to cup.
