Who said bachelors and bachelorettes can’t make naivedyam recipes? Try this simple no-cook recipe for Naivedyam. Even though this is very to opt for Krisha Jayanthi or Gokul Ashtami you can do for any festivals for prasadam. This is very healthy and tasty. You can modify to your taste and preference for the fruits. I got this recipe from one of my friends. If you don’t have any time or dieting or avoiding ghee, sugar sweets, deep-fried food you can try this for Krishna Janmashtami or any festival or pooja.
Ingredients
Poha / aval / flatten rice – 1/4 cup
Mixed fruits – 1 cup (I have used Apple, banana, pomegranate)
Edible Camphor / Pacha Karpooram – very small
Honey – 2 teaspoons
Grated jaggery – 1.5 tablespoons (adjust to sweetness)
Ghee – 2 teaspoons
Method
Wash poha and soak it for 5 mins. Drain the water. Squeeze extra water and in a broader vessel add all ingredients. Mix well. Add Poha.
Mix well. Leave it for 15 mins.
Offer this healthy Panchamirtham to god and enjoy the prasad
