Ghee Pepper Rice Recipe – Simple rice Recipe – Lunch recipe

My mum used to do this rice when we are sick or whenever she makes ghee. Esp when you have sour throat it is very soothing. I almost forgot about it. I was contemplating whether to blog this or not as it is very simple recipe. In the end I decided to do it as an option for kids or sick people. If you are doing it for kids you can reduce the Pepper quantity. I have used bastmati rice but any white rice would go well. 
Ingredients:

 

Cooked Bastmati rice – 1 cup
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Ghee – 3 teaspoon
Cashew or Badam – 1 tablespoon (optional)

 

 
Method
 
Heat Ghee. Add cashew fry till slight brown in colr. Add Pepper and Salt. Fry

 

Add cooked rice. Mix well

 

Rice is ready! So easy right?
