Paneer Green Curry Recipe – Paneer in Mint, Coriander gravy – Simple Paneer recipe

Paneer! In any form and shape my kids love it. I wanted to try this green curry base paneer for a while. I have tried this recently amazing flavour! I loved it. My kids love crisp paneer so I have fried little longer. However you can fry to your taste/ Preference. This time I have used store brought paneer if it is home made fresh paneer you don’t have fry it.
Ingredients:
Paneer – 200g
Onion – 2
Lemon – 1 tablespoon
Salt as required
oil as required (I have used 1 tablespoon)
Cumin seeds – 1 teaspoon


Grind to paste
Coriander leaves – 1/2 bunch
Pudhina / mint leaves – 1/2 cup
Green Chillies – 2
Ginger – 1 inch
Garlic- 8


Dry roast and powder it


Cumin seeds – 1/2 teaspoon
Coriander seeds – 1/2 teaspoon
Pepper – 1/2 teaspoon
Fennel seeds – 1/2 teaspoon
Cinnamon- 1 inch



Method:

Heat a teaspoon of oil and fry Paneer (if you don’t prefer to fry skip this step). Heat the kada and add 2 teaspoon of oil. When it is hot add Green chillies, Ginger and Garlic. Fry till slight brown in color. Add onion fry till it is soft. Switch it off. Let it cool down 

Grind to paste with coriander and mint leaves

Dry roast the ingredients under the section dry roast and powder it. Let it cool down and powder it using blender or food processor

Heat the Pan with a teaspoon of oil Add cumin seeds. Let it crackle. Add the grind paste
Fry till nice smell comes. Add spice powder and cup of water. Let it cook for a min

Add Fried Paneer and mix it well. Leave it for 5 mins and mix it in between. Add Lemon juice and mix it well

Switch of and serve hot
