Feta cheese Sprouts Sandwich – Simple sandwich recipe -Kids friendly recipe – Kids Lunch box recipe

Most kids love Paneer however most kids are not big fans of sprouts. I wanted to try Paneer and sprout sandwich for their evening snack. As a backup I prepared to do chocolate banana sandwich. But they loved the paneer sandwich so much I didn’t have fall back on it. This sandwich can be a meal by itself. It is well balanced with the addition of Sprouts

Ingredients:

Bread – 8 slices
Butter – as required for toasting bread
Feta cheese crumbled – 1.25 cups (I have used reduced fat)
Sprouts – 1/2 cup
Red chilli powder – 1/2 teaspoon to 1 teaspoon (adjust to your spice level)
Pepper powder – 1/4 teaspoon
Salt to taste
Spring onion – 3 tablespoon
Coriander leaves – 1 tablespoon
Oil – 1 teaspoon
Tomato sauce – 1 tablespoon

Method:
Grind Tomato sauce, pepper powder, red chilli powder, salt with Grated feta cheese.

Heat one teaspoon of oil. Add sprouts and bit of salt. Fry for 1 min. Add grated Cheese. Mix well. Cook for another min. Stir in between.

Add coriander leaves, Spring onion and mix well

Apply butter to bread (one side) and spread the stuffing place the the buttered side on the toaster pate.

Apply butter to one side of another bread now close it with buttered side on the top. Close the toaster

Toast it according to the toaster instruction and remove and serve hot
