I normally make buttermilk oats as it is one of my favourite breakfast. It normally keeps me full till lunch and is quite refreshing. However I always have a difficult time to get my kids to have it. So when I saw this in jeyashriskitchen I bookmarked it immediately as anything with sev will entice them. True enough they loved it
Ingredients
Quick cooking oats – 1/4 cup
Yogurt – 1/4 cup
Chat masala – a pinch
Cumin powder – 1/2 teaspoon
Green chutney – 1/4 teaspoon
Sweet chutney – 1 teaspoon (My kids love Sweet chutney. Otherwise you can reduce it to 1/2 teaspoon)
Salt to taste
Sev – As needed
Coriander leaves – 1 tablespoon
Fruits of your choice – I have used blueberry
Cucumber – 2 tablespoons (grated)
Method:
Whip yogurt with chat masala, green chutney, sweet chutney, salt, cumin powder. Keep it aside till you are ready to serve
Dry roast oats and keep it aside.
When you are ready to serve, Add cucumber and yogurt to roasted oats.
Top it off with Sev and fruit of your choice. Serve it immediately
