I have posted spring onion paratha with all purpose flour / maida. I saw this recipe at Priya’s Cook and click the other day and I wanted to try this version immediately. I was pretty sure my kids would love it. This doesn’t require any side dish. But you can serve it with simple raita / yogurt also. As I was expecting kids liked it. Thanks Priya for the recipe
Ingredients
Wheat flour – 2 cups
Chilli powder – 3/4 teaspoon (adjust to your spice level)
Chopped spring onion – 1/2 cup
Garam masala powder – 1/2 teaspoon
Cumin seeds powder – 1 teaspoon
Dry mango powder – 1/4 teaspoon
Oil for cooking Paratha
Method
Take a broad vessel and take all the ingredients except oil. Mix well. Make a soft dough. Keep it closed for one hour.
Divide dough into equal medium size balls. Roll the balls into parathas as shown in the pics
Heat flat pan. Once hot add rolled parathas and drizzle oil around it. Cook it till brown spots appear. turn it over and cook it on the other side. Once done remove it from pan
Serve hot
