Blueberry Pie Smoothie

I love the idea of having smoothie for the breakfast. Because it is very easy to do and you can throw in your favourites and difficult to go wrong. Oh yah it is easy to make it healthy. For me it is quite filling too. And I sneak in vegetables or fruits in it and try to use natural sweetener. In this I have used Dates.
Ingredients:

½ cup yogurt
¾ cup milk
½ a ripe banana
½ cup blueberries
1 Medjool date
1 tbs. maple syrup (optional. I didn’t use it)

Method
Place all the ingredients in a blender.  Combine until smooth, and taste to see if it needs the maple syrup.
