Choco chips (Chocolate chip) muffin

My kids are big fans of muffin and cupcakes. Since my son came back so late he wanted his birthday cake to be baked on weekend not on his exact birthday. But I wanted to do something that he likes and simple to surprise him. I did this simple Choco chip muffin. Since he likes chocolaty I added more choco chips. It is so simple and you can surprise anyone with this in 40 mins.
Ingredients:

All purpose flour – 1.5 cups + 1 tablespoon for dusting choco chips
Unsweetened or semi sweetend Choco chips – 1/2 cups
Baking powder – 1 teaspoon
Salt a pinch
Butter or oil – 1/2 cup (if you are using butter melt 1/2 cup of butter)
Sugar – 1/2 cup ( I have used brown sugar)
Vanilla extract – 1 teaspoon
Milk – 250 ml

Method:

Dust the choco chips and keep it aside
Melt the butter. Sift flour, salt together. Keep it aside. Whisk together melted butter / oil and sugar till sugar melts. Add milk, vanilla extract and baking powder. Mix till all are incorporated
Add flour slowly and mix well (do not over mix it). Add dusted choco chips and mix well.

Pre heat the oven at 180 C. Line the muffin tray with buttered or oiled muffin cup. Fill the batter 3/4th in each muffin cups. Bake it for 25-27 mins or till when you insert a toothpick comes out clean. Let it cool down completely.

Enjoy the muffin
