Ajwain Paratha – Indian flat bread with Ajwain seeds – Healthy Roti, Paratha recipe

I Love Ajwain flavour. However my kids are not a big fans of it. So I seldom add those to my dishes. But whenever I get a chance to sneak it in I will do it. Recently I tasted this at my friend’s place and it had been very long time since I made or had Ajwain paratha..These days my kids taste buds are changing so I wanted to give it a try again. So here you go with Ajwain Paratha. A very flavourful and healthy dish
Ingredients


Wheat flour – 2 cups
Ajwain seeds – 3 teaspoon
Salt to taste
oil / ghee – 2 tablespoon



Method:


Mix flour, ajwain seeds, salt and oil in a bowl. Adding water make a really smooth and pliable dough. Keep it aside for 30 mins to 1 hour

Now take a lemon size ball and roll into thin chapathi. Apply little oil on top of it. And sprinkle flour on the top. 

Now make a fleeted dough as shown in the pic. Roll the fleeted dough from one end to another end like in the pic. Roll it again to make paratha. Thickness of this would be slightly thicker than chapathi

Thickness of this would be slightly thicker than chapathi. Heat flat pan and add rolled paratha and sprinkle oil around it. Let it cook. Turn it over other side and cook it also

Once cooked served with your favourite side dish
