Baked Vegetable Recipe – Baked vegetable in creamy whole wheat sauce – Baked vegetable in Casserole – Snack recipes – Kids meal recipe

This is another mixed vegetable dish that your kids would love for sure (ok ok not all but the majority of kids) I have tried making sauce for this with oats, all purpose flour and Whole wheat flour. My kids don’t prefer oats. So for this post I have done it with whole wheat flour. Of course you can try with your favourite option. I have tried both Olive oil and butter. Butter works best. You can add your favourite vegetables / seasonal vegetables. I have used regular vegetables for this version. I served it as a starter. My sons loved it!
Ingredients:

Mixed vegetables – 1.5 cups to 2 cups (I have used beans, carrot,
Salt to taste
Olive oil – 1 teaspoon
Grated cheese – 1.5 tablespoon


For Sauce
Butter – 3 teaspoon
Atta / All purpose flour – 1 tablespoon
Milk – 1 cup
Salt to taste
Pepper powder to taste



Method:


Chop all the vegetable finely. Heat oil and add vegetables, salt. Fry till it is cooked (about 3 mins). Remove it .

Let’s do sauce now. Heat pan with butter. Add flour fry till mixture is thick. lower flame. Add milk and whisk it till no lumps.

Now take greased baking dish. Grease it with butter. Add cooked vegetables. Add sauce. 

Top it off with cheese. Pre-heat oven at 180 degree. Bake vegetables at 180 degree for 17-20 mins or till top is brown in color.
