Broccoli paratha – Simple dinner recipes – No garlic and onion recipes

My kids love broccoli wrap. In fact they love simple cooked broccoli. For me there is only dish so far which is ok with Broccoli – Broccoli pasta. I had this broccoli chapathi / paratha in my to do list for quite sometime. I got to try it this week. As expected kids loved the dish. It is quite filling and a healthy option for dinner or good lunch box recipe
Ingredients
For Dough:
Wheat flour – 4 cup
All purpose flour – 1/2 cup
Soft Tofu – 1/2 cup
Salt to taste
Water for dough

For Stuffing

Broccoli – 3 cups (grated)
Salt to taste
Turmeric powder – 1/4 teaspoon
Garam masala – 1/2 teaspoon
Red chilli powder – 1/2 teaspoon
Roasted cumin seeds powder – 1/2 teaspoon
Oil – 2 teaspoon

Method

Take a broad bowl add wheat flour, all purpose flour, salt , soft tofu mix well. Add water little by little and make a soft pliable dough (same as chapathi). Keep it covered for 30 mins
Blanch the broccoli.

Once it is cool down grate it. I just pulse it in blender. Heat the pan and add oil. Add grated broccoli, salt and cook it. add turmeric powder, garam masala, red chilli powder, roasted cumin powder and mix well. fry for another 3-5 mins. Switch it off and keep it aside

Take the lemon size ball. Roll out into thick chapathi and add stuffing in the middle and gather the dough from all side and make a ball like in the pic. Roll out to thicker chapathi / paratha.

Heat the flat pan. add rolled chapathi and sprinkle oil around it. Cook till brown spot appear. Turn around and cook. Take out and serve hot with favourite raita.

Repeat the process till all parathas are done
