Cauliflower Fry

I am doing this after long time.. For some reason my first son likes plain cooked one these days (esp cauliflower) so we have been doing that most of the time. When we do the cauliflower just the boiled one I cannot take it (due to the strong flavour). But since kids like it recently I was doing more of it. Yesterday my second son was asking will we make the old fry type or only this plain boring stuff. So I decided to do simple fry



Ingredients:


Cauliflower – 4 Cup (Cut into small flowerlet)
Sambar powder – 1 tablespoon
Curry leaves – 1 string
Mustard seeds – 1/4 teaspoon
Urad dhal –  2 teaspoon
Roasted Gram Dhal powder – 2 tablespoon
Turmeric powder – 1/4 teaspoon
Oil – 1 tablespoon


Method


Put Cauliflower in salted hot water for 10 mins. Drain it
Heat kada and add oil
When oil hot add Mustard seeds and when it pops add urad dhal and curry leaves
Fry till urad dhal is brown
Add Cauliflower and turmeric powder fry for 2 mins
Add Sambar podi and fry for another 5 mins
Add corn flour and fry for another 3-5 mins. Cauliflower will become semi crispy
Switch it off
