Anything with cheese will work with my kids. I have heard a lot about potato cheese bake but since I am not a big fan of cheese I haven’t tasted it so far. Last week in one lunch with friends I tried baked potato and it was actually not that bad. Last week I wanted to try baking sweet potato. Normally I do oven baked fry. Was wondering how it would turn out. It turned out pretty good. All roses disappeared fast.
Ingredients
Sweet potato – 3 (medium size)
Salt to taste
Olive oil – 2 tablespoon
Red chilli flakes – 2 teaspoon (Adjust to spice level)
Garlic – 10 pods (chopped finely)
Italian mixed herbs – 1 teaspoon
Butter to grease muffin tray
Cheese – 2 teaspoon per rose (I made 6 roses)
Method:
Remove the skin from sweet potato and slice thinly. Add olive oil, salt, garlic, Italian mixed herb. Mix well. Grease muffin tray
Arrange sweet potato mixture. Add grated cheese
Pre heat oven at 180 degree C. Bake sweet potato at 180 degree C till top is browned (It tool 34 mins for me). Let it cool down and take it out.
Serve hot
