Eggfree Cream Cheese Cookies

Who doesn’t like a crisp and tasty yet simple cookie recipe? I used to buy some Chinese new year cookies all these years esp from my friends with Covid and so much restriction in movement this year I couldn’t meet up with them. So I decided to try some quick and easy cookies for a long weekend. I initially wanted to do few CNY recipes like pineapple cookies or mixed nut cookies. But couldn’t get to it due to my busy schedule. Hope I will get it sometime soon. Now here we go with the recipe

Ingredients:
All-purpose flour – 2 cups
Cream cheese – 150g
butter – 1/2 cup
Sugar – 1 to 1.5 cups
Baking powder – 1/2 teaspoon
Vanilla extract – 1 teaspoon
Salt a pinch

Method:
Mix in baking powder, salt to all-purpose flour. Keep it aside
Cream the rest of the ingredients in a bowl. 

Add flour and mix well. Make smooth dough

Chill the dough for an hour. Shape the cookies in the desired shape. arrange it in a lined baking tray. Preheat oven at 180 degrees C

Bake the cookies at 180 degrees for 10-12 mins or till sides are browned

remove them from the oven & let them cool down. Once cool down store it in an airtight container & enjoy
