After trying Matcha waffles, I wanted to try a dark chocolate and Matcha combo. Kids are not big fan of green tea. With the addition of chocolate they really loved it. Now I found some way of feeding them with Green tea. With dark chocolate and matcha this dish is really high in Anti oxidant and a perfect start for the day

Ingredients:
Self-raising flour – 1/2 cup
Whole wheat flour  – 1/2 cup ( I have used the freshly grinded wheat flour)
Baking soda – 1/4 teaspoon
Brown or white sugar – 2 teaspoon
Butter, melted- 2 tablespoon
Milk – 1 cup
Vanilla essence – 1 teaspoon (optional)
Lemon Juice – 1/2 teaspoon
Matcha powder – 2 tablespoon

Melted Dark chocolate – 3 tablespoon (I have used 70% dark chocolate)

Method:

Melt the butter and take 2 tablespoon of melted butter. Let it cool down

Chop the chocolate and Melt the dark chocolate and let it cool down

Sift Self raising flour, wheat flour, baking soda. Mix in Matcha powder with 1/2 cup of milk..
Add room temperature melted ghee and milk. Whisk it.
Now add matcha mixture

Whisk it. Now add matcha mixture and whisk again

Grease the waffles plate with non stick spray or butter. Heat it. Pour the laddle full of batter till it covers all the holes. Close it and cook it as per instruction of the waffle maker.

Remove it and serve hot

what is the flour you have used? I let the Waffle in the griddle 1 more min after the lights were off.. Also you heat the griddle first before pouring batter..
