Identify what triggers your weight gain and control it in the beginning itself.
Check your weight once in every two week
If there is a change in the weight recollect what changes you have made in your lifestyle (food, Water, sleeping, physical activity). This will help to understand what triggered the change
For me,
When I returned from holiday (of 2 weeks) I have gained 1.5 kg. Sure there was change in water intake and food that I had. Once I adjust it back within 2 days I am back to my original issue.
