Hong Style Yuanyang recipe – Coffee and tea recipe – Drink recipe – tea time recipe

Yuanyang is a very popular drink in Southeast Asia esp Hong Kong, Malaysia  I got introduced to it just a few years ago when I started to go to Penang for work. Even though I am a big tea person I do want to try different drinks esp for my evening (to be precise 4 PM) I need something hot. I know a lot of people talk about morning coffee but for me, it is more of an evening drink. Even though I am not so particular about which specific mix I prefer to drink with less milk. I also want to try all the fusion. When I first heard about this It sounded weird to me still I went ahead to try out. I liked it. This tastes better with evaporated milk.

Ingredients:

Brewed coffee – 1/2 cup (I have used 1 teaspoon of instant coffee)
Tea powder – 1 teaspoon
Evaporated milk – 1/4 cup
Sugar to taste

Method

Boil water tea & coffee powder. If you are using brewed coffee just boil it with tea powder
