Kimchi rice – Simple lunch box recipes

I love Korean food. As I mentioned in other posts Korean cuisine is saviour for me when I travel to China. It is easy to find spicy vegetarian in Korean food. I love to have spicy food esp during winter. I had some left over kimchi paste after my kimchi rice noodles. So One  lazy Sunday afternoon I made this Kimchi rice. Everyone at home loved it
Ingredients
Cooked brown rice – 2.5 cups
Kimchi paste – 2 cups
Red Dry chillies – 2 (broken into 2)
Gingerly oil  – 1 tablespoon
Dry roasted Sesame seeds / Toasted sesame seeds – 1 tablespoon
Salt to taste

Method:

Heat the oil in a pan. Add kimchi paste, sesame seeds and dry chillies fry in medium high flame for 2 mins. Add cooked rice and salt. Mix well.

Serve hot. Enjoy this quick and tasty rice
