I love this simple mango drink. Last year, I tried it a few times but couldn’t do a final picture. This time, before the mango season finishes, I want to post it. And yes, I finally made it! It is very refreshing with fresh mango and lemon. It is the perfect drink for the season. I got introduced to a non-alcoholic mojito after moving to Singapore. There are different fruit flavors but I love this mango version. Do try it out before the season ends!
Ingredients
Mango – 1/2 cup for puree + 1 teaspoon of chopped mango for serving
Lemon juice – 1 tablespoon
Mint leaves – 10
Red chili powder – 1/4 teaspoon
Few ice cubes
Club soda – 1 cup
Ginger – 1/2 inch (chopped roughly)
Sugar / Honey as required ( I didn’t add as club soda enough)
Method
Make Mango Puree
Take lemon juice, mint, ginger, chili powder, mango puree, and honey or sugar in a serving cup.
Using a muddler, crush them a few times (you can use the back of a wooden spoon, too).
Add club soda, chopped mango, and ice cubes
Serve chilled!
