My kids love Meal Maker. Other day I wanted to do some snacks for after school. Normally I use Tofu but I ran out tofu. I had Meal Maker in hand so wanted to do some simple fry for them to try. It was a super hit with them. The Nuggets were super crispy outside but soft inside. It is also a very simple and quick dish. This can go as a starter or as a side to your rice too. Do try this out
Ingredients:
Meal Maker / Soya Nuggets – 1.5 cup
Chilli powder – 1 teaspoon
Ginger Paste – 1/2 teaspoon
Garlic Paste – 1 teaspoon
Corn flour – 2 tablespoon
Curry Leaves – 15 (optional)
Salt to taste
Oil – 2 tablespoon
Method:
Boil water with salt and add meal maker. Leave it for 10 mins.
Drain the water and squeeze the extra water from it by squeezing it
Add Ginger paste, garlic paste, red chillies powder, corn flour mix well. Keep it aside for 30 mins
Heat the pan with 2 tablespoon of oil. Add curry leaves and fry it. Take it out and keep it aside. Add nuggets.
And fry till crispy in low medium flame. Add fried curry leaves.. Mix well
