I love onion esp with some vegetables . Mushroom is one of it. Mushroom and onion is one of the best combo. Button mushroom is a must vegetable in our household at least once a week. Mushroom is so simple to make. This dish has loads of onion. It is very simple and tasty dish. Do give it a try. It goes well with pulao, fried rice, Jeera rice or pulka. If you like mushroom you should try this dish and would really enjoy this perfect combo
Ingredients:


Mushroom – 500g
Onion – 1.5 cups (sliced thinly)
Ginger – 1/2 teaspoon
Garlic – 1 teaspoon
Tomatoes – 2
Coriander powder – 1/2 teaspoon
Garam masala – 1 teaspoon
Chilli powder – 1 teaspoon (adjust to your spice level)
Green chilli – 1 or 2 (slit into 2. Adjust to your spice level)
Cumin Seeds / Jeera – 1 teaspoon
Salt to taste
Coriander leaves – 1 tablespoon (finely chopped)
Oil – 3 teaspoons
Fresh cream – 1 tablespoon (Optional)



Method:


Wash and clean the mushrooms and slice them into desired size or shape. Grind the tomatoes.

Heat the pan and add oil. Add cumin seeds let it crackle. Add onion, green chillies and fry till transparent. Add ginger garlic paste, Green Chillies and mix well.

Add grinded tomato puree, Coriander powder, Chilli powder, garam masala fry till raw smell goes off. Add sliced mushroom and salt. Cook it by closing the lid. 

Mix in fresh cream and cook for a min. Add chopped coriander leaves and mix well. 

Serve hot
