Ingredients:
Basmati rice – 1 cup
Mushroom – 3 Cups
Small Onion – 7
Tomato – 1 and 1/2
Garlic – 4
Curry leaves – 1 String
Gram masala – 1 teaspoon
Fennel Seeds – 1 teaspoon
Mint Leaves – 15 leaves
Cinnamon – 1 Inch
Dagad Phool – 2
Bay leaves – 1
Sambar powder – 1 tablespoon
Method
Wash Basmati rice and drain the water
Heat the kada. Add 1 teaspoon of Ghee
Add Basmati rice and fry for 3 mins. Keep it aside
Heat the kada when it is hot add oil
When Oil is hot add Cinnamon, Dagad Phool, Fennel seeds and bay leaves. Fry till nice aroma comes
Add Onion, Garlic and fry till it is brown color
Add Tomato and fry till soft
Add sliced mushroom
Add sambar powder, gram masala and fry till musroom is cooked
Add mint leaves
Add Rice to this gravy and fry for 1 min
Add 2 Cup water (1:2) and let it stand for 10-15 mins
Switch on rice cooker and let it cook ( I hv used rice cooker. If you are using pressure cooker cook till 2 whistle)
