My kids are big fans of puff pastry. I had one puff pastry sheet left to finish. I had this puff pastry pinwheel in one restaurant in India. So I have decided to try it out. I made the stuffing with potato and peas. You can have it with mixed vegetables. If you are adding mixed vegetables reduce potato by 1 and replace it with 1/2 cup of mixed vegetables. Make sure your vegetables are chopped finely. This can be served alone. This is a perfect after school / tea time snack. Also good party starter / appetizer.
Ingredients:
For Stuffing
Potato – 5 (small size potato. When you mash it yielded 1.5 cups)
Peas – 2 tablespoons
Onion – 1.5 (medium. finely chopped)
Garlic – 4 pods (finely chopped)
Ginger – 1/2 teaspoon (finely chopped)
Garam masala – 1/2 teaspoon
Coriander powder – 1 teaspoon
Chilli powder – 1/2 teaspoon (adjust to your spice level)
Turmeric powder – 1/2 teaspoon
Salt to taste
Coriander leaves – 1 tablespoon (chopped)
