Pizza Dosa

My aunt used to make Mexican uttappam. I wanted to try it out as Pizza dosa with cheese. I have used bread cheese which is 60% less fat. If you prefer other types of cheese pls go ahead and enjoy. To me this is perfect fusion and good for a lazy weekend brunch

Ingredients:


Dosa Batter – 1/2 Cup
Beans – 4  2 inch pieces per dosa
Carrot – 4  2 inch pieces per dosa
Tomatoes – 3 think slices per dosa

Onion – 1/4 tablespoon (thinly sliced) per dosa
Idli Podi (powder) – 1/4 teaspoon per dosa (mixed with oil)

Cheese – 1/2 per dosa If you are using grated cheese 2 to 2.5 teaspoons
Oil – 1/2 teaspoon



Method:
Cook Beans and Carrot with little water and salt. If you are ok with crisp vegetables you can directly use it. I prefer to have it pre cooked.

Heat flat tawa. When it is hot pour Dosa batter ( it will be thick) put oil around it. Arrange the vegetables as shown in the pic

When it is cooked on the side turn to other side to get it cooked. Turn it back and add Idli podi and cheese and cook to for another 30 sec or till cheese start to melt

 Serve hot and enjoy it with sauces or chutneys
