My mum used to do this sandwich during my school/ college days. The recipe ass for potato, onion, and little masala items (only green chilies and turmeric powder). It almost tastes like poori masal (masala) It is above a flame (yes, no toaster or sandwich maker). I wanted to try this for quite some time but due to the amount of onion needed to make this, I kept postponing. Last weekend I finally got a chance to make it. Everyone loved it. You can add corn also. Below measurements is for 3 sandwiches.

Turmeric powder – 1/2 teaspoon
Salt to taste

Add coriander leaves. Mix well. Switch it off.
Apply ghee in the toast maker. place bread and place 1.5 to 2 tablespoon of potato mixture.
Close it with another bread. Close the toast maker and toast it till it is done.
