We don’t get green pumpkins which have white flesh in Singapore. Last time when I visited my mum’s aunt house she had those and made Bhaji.. with them. I loved the taste. When my sister visited me she passed a few of those type with my sister (so nice of her) I wanted to make Bhaji but it might be bit too much so decided to make rice with it. It tasted so wonderful
Ingredients
Cooked brown rice – 2.5 cup
Grated Pumpkin – 2.5 cup (You can reduce this to 2 cup)
Onion – 1 (small. Sliced thinly)
Ginger paste – 1 teaspoon
Garlic – 1 tablespoon (finely chopped
Oil – 1 tablespoon
Cinnamon – 1 inch piece
Bay leaf – 1
Kal pasi (stone flower) – 2
Cardamom – 2
Cloves – 4
Cumin seeds – 1 teaspoon
Turmeric powder – 1/4 teaspoon
Chilli powder – 1 teaspoon
Salt to taste
Method:
Heat the oil and add Cumin seeds, cinnamon, cardamon, cloves, bay leaf, stone flower, Fry till nice aroma released. Add Garlic and fry till slight brown in color. Add onion. Fry till transparent. Add ginger garlic paste and fry till nice aroma released.

I must try this .. as no one eats pumpkin in my house .. this way they will not come to know.
