Have you tried Quinoa Soup? It is very filling and perfect for dieters esp beginners. I love the nutty flavour of quinoa. Addition of chickpea makes it a well balanced meal. I love the combo of coconut milk and pepper powder. If you prefer to replace it with milk you can do so. You can add milk at the last stage and let it boil for a min. Since I have used Coconut milk I added it just before switching off. Try this out and let me now
Ingredients:
Cooked quinoa – 1/4 cup
Chick Peas / White Channa – 1/2 cup
tomato – 1 (finely chopped)
Onion – 1 (small, Sliced thinly)

Oil – 1 teaspoon (I have used coconut oil)
Garlic – 7 cloves
Cilantro / coriander leaves – 2 tablespoon
Mint Leaves – 1 tablespoon
Salt per taste
Coconut milk – 1/2 cup
Pepper Powder – 1 teaspoon or Red bird eye chillies – 1 or 2 (adjust to your spice level)

Method:
Soak Chick peas overnight and cook it with salt. Cook Qunioa and spread it on plate. Keep both aside.
Add oil and add garlic, Mint leaves and fry till it is slight brown color. Add onion and fry till it is cooked. Add Tomatoes and fry till it is mushy.
Add cooked chickpea (Chana dal) and Water or vegetable stock. Add cooked quinoa. Mix well.
Add Chilli or pepper powder, Mint leaves. Boil till desired thickness
Add Coconut milk. boil till bubble start to appear. Add cilantro and Pepper and switch it off.
Serve hot
