Sabudana Thalipeeth-Navratri Vrat Recipe-Sago Recipes – Pooja recipes – Festival recipes – Fasting recipes

Before my marriage, my mom does only Sago payasam/ Kheer, but after marriage, I got introduced to Sabudana kichadi (upma) by my neighbor. But after blogging I end up with a lot more new recipes with Sago. Sabudana Thalipeeth is one such recipe Sago base dishes are perfect when you are fasting. Now it is festival season and Navratri around the corner so you can try this for this upcoming festive season.
Ingredients: 


Sago / Javvarisi / Sabudana – 3/4 cup
Potatoes – 1 (cooked, peeled and mashed)
Salt to taste
Green chilies.- 2 (finely chopped)
Peanut powder – 1/4 cup
Salt to taste
Roasted cumin seeds powder – 1/2 teaspoon
Coriander leaves – 1/4 cup (finely chopped)
Ghee or oil to cook it


Method:

Soak Sabudana in water for 3-4 hrs. Drain it. Take that in a bowl add potato, salt, green chilies, peanut powder, cumin powder, and coriander leaves.

Make a non sticky dough. Take a lemon size ball and flatten it with hand on a greased banana leaf or polythene sheet

Heat flat pan and add flatten roti. Sprinkle oil or ghee around it and cook it. Turn it over and cook again

Once done remove it and serve hot
