Whenever I think of Samosa chaat it brings me back the memories of my college days. Near our college we had Indian super market – Sindhamani. They used to sell nice Samosa Chaat. Whenever we got free period between classes we had walked to that super market and had this Chaat. This Chaat was very famous and runs out very fast. Other day I did samosa which I have posted before. And I purposely kept about 4 samosa to make this chat next day.

Method:

Wash and soak peas for 4-6 hours. Pressure cook with salt. Drain the extra water and keep it aside.

To make Gravy, heat 2 teaspoon of oil in a pan and add garlic and ginger. Fry till Garlic is brown in color. Add chopped onions. Fry till it is light brown in color. Add Tomatoes Fry till they are mushy. Add tumeric, Pav Bhaji masala powder, salt, red chilli powder. Fry till raw smell goes off. Add cooked Peas and required water I have added about 3/4 cup of water. Let it boil. Keep it aside.

Now cut the samosas into larger junks. Arrange it in serving plate. Pour the Peas / chana gravy on top of it. Add grated carrot, chopped onion, coriander leaves. And drizzle sweet and green chutneys.
