This is simple yet very healthy
rice.. This rice which is very nutritious
also perfect for the dieters. It is kind of fusion for people who are looking
for kind of Indian rice but not too strong flavours. My kids are big fan of
this rice. This is a perfect lunch box item
Ingredients:
Sprouted green
gram dhal – 1 cup
gram dhal – 1 cup
Basmati rice – 1 cup.
Onion – 1 sliced thinly
cumin seeds – 1 teaspoon
Garam masaala – 1/2 teaspoon
Cinnamon – 1/2 inch stick
Bay leaves – 1
Green chillies – 2 (slit into

tablespoon (finely chopped)

Oil – 2 teaspoon
Soya milk / coconut milk – 1
cup (I have used soya milk)

Method:
Wash basmati rice and drain the
water. Keep it aside.

seeds and let it crackle.Add Cinnamon, bay leaves ad fry for another 30 sec. Add onion and fry till transparent. Add green chillies and Curry leaves. Fry for 30 sec. Add soya milk and water, let it boil. Add sprouted green dhal, Garam masala and salt. Mix well. Add rice, mix well and close the lid and let it cook. Once cooked add
