I love to try snacks / starter with vegetables as these days most of the kids has very long days in the school and end up taking lunch from school canteen (yeah they pack only breakfast). Esp this one is not deep fried. So sort of better choice over all those deep fried options we have. This can be side or perfect starter. It can be good after school snack too
Ingredients
Cauliflower – 1 medium – 2 cups flower-lets
Hung yogurt – 5 tablespoon
Salt to taste
Fenugreek leaves – 1 teaspoon
Red chilli powder – 1/2 teaspoon
Cumin seeds powder – 1 teaspoon
Garam masala – 1/2 teaspoon
Turmeric powder – 1/4 teaspoon
Amchur powder – 2 pinchs
Ginger / garlic paste – 1 teaspoon
Oil – 3 teaspoon
Method
Boil water and add cauliflower and leave in the water for 5 mins. Drain the water and leave it aside. Mix in yogurt, salt, red chilli powder, cumin seeds powder, garam masala, turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste. amchur powder and mix well. Add cauliflower and mix well. Leave it aside for 1 hour
Pre heat the oven at 180 degree. Take the baking plate and spread the cauliflower. Drizzle oil around. Bake it till Cauliflower is slight golden in color for me it took about 35 mins.
You can do it tawa / flat pan also.Enjoy it hot
