I have tried this salad at one of my local friend house. She knows I pack Tofu for lunch at least twice a day. So she made this for me. It was pretty good and simple to make. This is shallow fried tofu with vinegar dressing. It is a perfect starter / snack. If you want you can replace vinegar with lemon juice. This is very good for kids snack box (of course if you are packing for kids you can adjust your onion and chilli)
Ingredients
Firm Tofu – 1 big bloc
Oil for shallow frying (I have used Coconut oil)
Salt to taste
Shallots – 5-7 (chop finely)
Green chillies – 1 -2 (chop finely)
Vinegar or lemon juice – 1 tablespoon
Method:
Clean and pat dry Tofu. With required salt shallow fry Tofu. Keep it aside
In a hand pestal take shallots, green chillies and make a crushed paste
Mix this to fried Tofu. and add vinegar mix well
Salad is ready
