Today morning when I was planning for dinner I wanted to get something quick, easy to make and no need of fermentation. So decided to try something with Adai variety. Buy only last week I did Adai and my kids will make fuss over it. So decided to do it’s closer cousin 🙂 yeap! that is tomato dosa

Ingredients:
Raw rice – 1 1/4 Cup

Tomatoes – 2 medium
Dry Red Chilli – 4
Asafotida Powder – a pinch
Salt – 1 teaspoon or as per taste

Thuar Dhal – 2 tablespoon
Oil as required

Method:
Wash and soak rice and dhal together for 2 hours. Drain the water
Add Tomato and Red chillies with soaked rice/dhal in blender or mixie
Grind to paste (in dosa consistency)
Add salt and mix it well
Add sufficient water make a thin batter.  (between rawa dosa and normal dosa consistency)

Heat tawa and grease with oil.
Pour a big ladle of the batter and make a thin dosa.
Pour a teaspoon of oil around the dosa and after it cooked one side, flip it over and cook other side also. Remove it.
