Turmeric tea – Immunity boosting recipe – Simple Tea recipes

This is one of the go-to tea these days. This tea will boost much-needed immunity. I love this no milk version. The main compound of turmeric, curcumin, has been shown in at least 30 different studies to have anti-tumor/anticancer and antioxidant effects. This spice has also been shown to be a wonderful detoxing agent for the liver. I have tried both Turmeric powder and fresh turmeric. I liked this fresh turmeric version. This is perfect for cold / flu season

Ingredients



Freshly grated turmeric – 1 teaspoon
Freshly grated ginger – 1 teaspoon
Cinnamon –  1 inch
Lemon juice – 2 teaspoons
Raw honey – 1 teaspoon (adjust to your sweetness)



Method:


Take 1.25 water, Turmeric, ginger, cinnamon and let it boil for 3 mins

Switch it off close it with lid for 2 mins. Strain it.  Add Honey

Add honey, Lemon juice mix well

Enjoy
