My kids are not big fans of ice cream and my husband takes ice cream only once in a while. So I have been postponing making ice cream. Last week I was in India for a few days and my mum and rest of the family likes Ice cream. So I decided to do a simple Vanilla Ice cream. Since we get fresh milk there I wanted to try Ice cream with it. Ice cream turned out to be a super duper hit. It came out so creamy and tasty. So much so the next day they wanted to try different flavour. I made Mango ice cream but this time I decided to try out with condensed milk. I will post soon
Ingredients:
Fresh milk – 2 1/2 cup milk + 1/4 cup
Corn flour – 1 tablespoon
Fresh cream – 1/2 cup (I have used Amul)
Sugar – 1/2 cup
Vanilla Essence – 1 teaspoon
Method:
Add Corn flour and 1/4 cup of milk and mix well. Keep it aside.
Boil milk. Add sugar. boil till Sugar is dissolved.
Add corn flour and continue to boil till you see a coat on the laddle. Switch it off. Let it cool down completely
Beat cream till it is smooth and peak form
Add Vanilla Extract. Add Cooled milk to fresh cream. Mix well
Pour it in freezer container freeze it for 2 hrs
Take out and beat again and freeze again. Do this for every 2 hrs for 3-4 times.
After final time let it set overnight.
Enjoy!
