Vazhai Thandu (valaithandu, Banana Stem) Poriyal

I like Vazhai Thandu. This I Get only if I go to little India. However for the past few trips I keep picking up Vazhai Poo (as it was fresh and in right size). Since both of these vegetables need to be made immediately (cannot keep for more than a day) I keep picking up Poo(flower) over stem. This time I was determined to pick up the Vazhai thandu as I started to crave for it. I manage to find this over the weekend and made poriyal out of it. It is so delicious and satisfying:-)
